I stayed at Westchester Square Apartment a few years ago, and got a "behind the scenes" look at how Sandy, her boyfriend Rock, and her drunk daughter liked to run the property.
We had some great neighbors and the apartment itself wasn't too bad. That is, if/when they'd actually send maitenance to come and fix a problem.
Sandy would only rent to certain people after she had made unfair judgements about their character, personality, and whether they were "dating" factors. Now, that doesn't mean that women aren't rented to, it just means to say that I know of at least three occassions where Sandy and her daughter Faith offered "special" rent agreements to certain people because of the way he looked.
I'm suprised that the owner, whom I still assume lives in another state, won't wise up to the fact that they should replace Sandy with a more respectable property manager.
Her daughter is allowed special priviledges due to being a family member, but is also allowed to break into other apartments that are unrented to help out party goers. She also is drunk half the time. Again, due to her special privilegdes, she never was reprimanded for it.
I just think the whole property would do great if new management would come in. I know that Sandy has been running it for some time now, and I'm suprised it's doors are still open. But, the fact remains, that things could improve if we had someone in there that would respond appropriately to issues of concern. The property might even get a nice facelift if the owners knew of how the whole lot is deteriorating over time.

I will not tolerate your ingnorance any longer, I have filed charges with the district attorneys office for slander, you comments about me will no longer be tolerated. And this is not Sandy this is someone you put my name in your childness behavior and letters about westerchester, you have messed with the wrong person, you will be prosecuted.

O.k. so since my name was mentioned in this review I would like to comment. My name is Faith and I am Sandy, Apt manager, daughter. I have never influenced or commented on anyone that has ever applied, or rented at this property. I have never received any " special privileges" from my mother. Any time that I was on property I was visiting my mom. As far as the "DRUGIE" comment; come on anyone that knows me knows that I don???t do drugs. I actually pride myself in sobriety. So whoever wrote this clearly has a vendetta agenst my mom, and is trying to hurt her in a childish way. Or their piss at something I???ve have done so come fess up and approach me yourself!

i know for a fact that there is a lot of wrong doings there,such as not wanting to rent to a couple that was of different race from each other,but,ran across the gentleman in a bar and oh my god hes in a band,so now the management will rent to him,plus said she would give him a special move in price.she should not judge someone by there color of skin.this is just one of many incidents there.all incidents will be reported to the right authoritys.

Maybe all of us that have seen the wrong doings at Westchester of Sandy and her family, should sign a petition stating our unhappiness and see what can be done to regain our once beautiful property. Sandy and her daughters have done enough to hurt the property and people who reside here. I believe that if the owner in California knew of what was really going on, they would not approve of it. This property has great potential, it's located in such a wonderful area of Lakeshore Dr, and just needs some genuine TLC to fix it up again. Please tell us what the rest of you all would like to happen. We are currently writing to the owner. Also, does anyone else have the problem of Sandy always trying to get you to buy ignite energy from her? It's very annoying, unprofessional, and ILLEGAL. You can not manage a place and try to sell the residents your own product. It is a conflict of interest.
