If you live here than you already know that things are getting done around here.
The owners are trying to fix things up.

They have already gotten Star Efficiency Services to come out & do every apartment. They hung this thing in the doorway & hooked up this big blower with a meter to check to see how much air was getting out of the apartment.
They checked every air vent,they chalked around all of them, they replaced the ducting & the casing for the air/heat filter unit. They replaced it around the unit itself.
They recaulked around all the windows, they replaced the door striping& all around the door frame, The door shuts & it closes tight now so no air or heat can get in or out.
They even replaced all the light bulbs in the apartment with the Energy saving light bulbs. Then they hooked up the blower to do the test to make sure the apartment was more airtight than it was before they started all the work. They just started doing the insulation this week.

We noticed a big difference, the a/c blows a lot harder now & it dose not run as long as it use to.

I guess we will see just how much our electric bill goes down now.

DOGS: I love animals. The big dogs bark too much and it carries through the walls. Some of the big dogs are too aggressive too, always wish to attack me when leaving/going to my apt. Most dog owners walk their dogs to far away areas to poop is what I've seen...maybe you are speaking of 1 case of just a few odd ones - which doesnt need to be addressed to every single person. Also I have a slight issue with the stray cats... please do not feed them unless you want to clean them and adopt them to care for them fully. They come in packs and sleep on cars. They are super scary and will run away in a heartbeat though but it's just unhealthy to have a bunch of stray diseased carrying cats lingering around. The small animals are ok if the owner controls them to not be all over someone in public and keep their distance from strangers in respect. I love seeing different animals. Also SMOKERS: Smokers who are so rude to smoke right outside their door on the steps where 99% of your neighbors do not wish to smoke ever and may have asthma and may just not want to walk in unhealthy clouds of air every morning to work/evening from work/nights going out. These same smokers leave ash everywhere on the steps... These smokers should respectably smoke away from the STAIRS and not in the HALLWAY blocking/intimidating/intruding others. Please obey simple rules of living in apt complexes such as respecting others space and living quarters to make for a comfortable living. GUYS: The ones who continue to walk about outside with no shirt on, this is an apt complex not your private backyard. You share this living space with about 100 strangers. NO ONE wants to see this. These are usually the ones who will drink outside like a low life. This is a sign that you do not have much respect or care. If you ever see any suspicious activity - call the cops, not mgmt. The cops will take stronger and more immediate action to carefully investigate.

I love animals also. I love the feel of grass on my feet also, so I don't like having to watch out where I walk. I live in the area where the pool is, so I know what geoangel is talking about. The people in that area do just let there dogs go anywhere they want to. They just walk there dogs around the outside area of the fence of the pool. They let there dogs go poop around other peoples patio area where they cook on there grills. This is disrespectful to everyone. ........................................ I also agree with the smoking problem. There are cigarette butts everywhere in our breezeways. The people that smoke on there balaconys just throw them over the side. This is also very disrespectful to the people downstairs from them. "IF YOU WANT TO SMOKE DO IT INSIDE YOUR OWN APARTMENT SO WE DON'T HAVE TO BE AROUND IT." .................. Now the pool area problem. This is suppose to be the area where we can have fun & relax with our family. Instead we have people there smoking, drinking & using very bad language, in front of our children. They just leave this nasty mess everywhere. There are also kids & teenagers that go to the pool without adults. I THOUGHT THE RULES WERE "NO ONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE UNLESS, THEY ARE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT OR GUARDIAN." .......................................... OK GUYS I also agree that you need to wear a shirt. If you are going to the pool then take it off when you get there. I won't let my husband go to takeout the trash without a shirt on.

hopefully things will change for the better and managed to make the residence experience fair, decent, and managed professionally with a broad vision, no more of the "same" past total BS!...i happen to like all my neighbors as they never cause any problems in our bldg now except 1 who is older, doesnt speak and smokes on the steps causing roaring air of smoke for everyone to inhale. Not to get petty but he also wears daisy dukes and no shoes on often...(gag)
