I've lived at Westchester Square for almost 20 years and for the most part it's been a pleasant place to live. During that time I've had various neighbors who have not caused any significant ongoing problems.

My floorplan is spacious and the rent is reasonable compared to other simular apartments. One unique feature is that every building has its own coin operated washer and dryer located in the breezway...so you don't have to haul your laundry far. Also, I've never experienced a parking problem, maintenance is prompt and pest control is done on a regular basis.

The exterior does need some minor repairs...such as some of the wooden trim on the buildings needs replacing and some of the boards need to be replaced on the wooden fence that surrounds the majority of the property. But, we are recently under new management and I believe those types of needs will be addressed.

I feel comfortable at Westchester and call it home. I would recommend living here to anyone who is interested in apartment living.

wow, you must work there lol i can agree with this review...i've been there for 3 yrs... i've had some nice neighbors from all walks of life...and some of the problem neighbors have moved or been kicked out...the pay differences in rent is a long going conversation...but other than that..this review sounds legit. the windows could be replaced...new paint jobs for parking and bldg and trash cans (about exterior look)not trying to complain but...just saying it like it is.

There are 9 different floor plans at Westchester Square with different layouts and square footages, so rent rates reflect these differences.

I agree with this review also. I love my apartment & I love calling this place my home.We always lived in a house so this was a big difference for us. My neighbors are really great. There were a few that was kinda a nightmare. But thank God they are gone. We have been here for 3 years now & we have had 4 different sets of people that has moved in & out of the apartment above us.The first set was there when we moved in. It was a group of 3 young men in there 20's, they were College Students,they were really nice guys. They finished school & moved away. Next were a couple in there late 40's early 50's, they had a teenage son & daughter. They were really loud & nasty. They were only there for about 4 months,they didn't pay there electric so it was turned off. They were forced out for not paying there rent for almost 2-1/2 months. That apartment was so bad, these people had garbage that was stacked up every where. It took about 5 people to take it out. Then it took a little over 3 months to repair it. Then the other people that lived there were 4 guys, there were here about 4 or 5 months. They moved out over a weekend. Then we had 2 more guys move in & they were gone in about 6 months, they were construction workers. The people that lives there now are OK,a little loud sometimes. There are always so many people there all the time day & night, so I don't really know who is supposed to be living there. But hopefully things will be getting better now. The new office staff is really nice also. ( I never had problems with the old office staff, they were trying to get things corrected around here also.) Things are getting fixed up around here, it is taking a little time but getting done. Parking is a small problem in some areas. I love having a washer & dryer in the breezway. I love the layout of the buildings they aren't to close together. I feel safe here. There are about 7 or 8 different floor plans so the rent is different. The maintenance guys are nice & get things done. Pest control comes around every couple of months. I WOULD RECOMMEND LIVING HERE TO ANYONE. IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE.
