Pool always down, unfriendly Asst. Manager

The Pool has been down now, second time in two months. The guy who maintaining the pool obviously does not know how to properly maintain the PH leves or put enough chlorine in it.

Despite the "closed pool" sign, I decided to lay in the pool area to get some sun. An older lady with a drink in her hand yells from the second story balcony that the pool is closed, I acknowledged the fact that I knew this, pointed at the cloudy nasty pool water, and said I was merely laying down for some sun, and would never get in the water anyways. At the time, I thought she was just another crack-pot resident here, turns out she is the assistent manager. She has absolutely NO customer service skills. She lacks a basic apptitude on how a swimming pool functions as well. She got very short with me, and told me she was going to have to go to the manager and report me (seemed she was just itching at the chance) I told her while she was at it, to also report that they never keep the pool maintained. My favorite statement from her was "...well, I'm sure the pool guy knows what he's doing" - I merely pointed at the cloudy water "really' this does NOT support your argument, ma'am. This pool has been this way since Monday, and its Thursday now."

BTW, when you shock and/or add enough chlorine to a pool, it is usually crystal clear the next day. The pool guy needs to measure the water 18 inches below the surface.

She went on to tell me the whole pool area is closed because "its unsanitary, with fungus or bacteria or something" - so now I'm going to report them to the Texas State Health Department, zone 7.

I'm not sure what she was thinking when she was short and discourteous to me: I'm not a drunken 20 year old college student (no offense), I'm a 38 year old IT Professional - this is one of two apartments that I'm renting out due to traveling conditions.

Whispering Oaks, you should really keep a short leash on your Asst. Manager, she's about to get you into a lot of trouble.
