my boyfriend and i have lived here for over a year and we haven't had many problems. our first apartment was with a roommate in 2bedroom 2bath 2nd floor, our only complaint was the lack of parking in that certain area, i had a job where i got home after 2AM and walking a longer way made me uncomfortable, but no problems. also, out electric bill was really high during the summer, and the a/c wouldn't turn on because it would freeze up. we found out (a week before we moved) that it was due to mold on the unit. i suggest to check for this beforehand to save on a $400 bill.
the staff was very understanding and worked with us to switch apartments during our lease time. my boyfriend and i transferred to a one bedroom on the first floor and we love it. the only complaint here was the lady who lived above us would turn her music on at odd hours of the night with the bass on as loud as it could go. and my car was broke in to around chrsitmas time, but we figured out it was people coming from westchester, so make sure to keep all valuables in the house. also, our fuse blew out twice because of its age, but both times maintenance was here within 10 minutes.
we're never had a problem with maintenance or any of the other staff members, they're all very friendly and knowledgeable.
however, the buildings are old, so keep in mind you will have to invest in a lamp for 2 for the living room because there is no over head lighting in that area.
and we have never heard or seen a party going on in our complex, it's pretty quiet and we know most of our neighbors. i recommend this place to everyone i talk to. give it a chance, it's all about attitude
