Pretty decent place to live

My partner and I lived there from Aug 07 to Jan 08. We had to move due to work. However, we were overall very happy with our stay. I've read all the other postings on here, and can't really disagree with most of them. The parking can be pretty horrible sometimes, the apt's are a little spendy... But, they're super nice, if you can afford it. We had a 2/1 for $745. The amenities are amazing! THere's a really nice workout room, the pool has cabanas and grills, and the management is perfectly fine with you having people over and having pool parties. The 6 months we lived there we didn't have to place one work order. Our apartment had brand new appliances when we moved in, and our electric bill was never much over $100. I love to cook and the kitchen was very spacious. Now for some cons... The storage space is lacking. Upstairs neighbors are kinda noisy. Living rooms are relatively small in comparison to the rest of the apt (the bathroom was proportionally the largest room in the apt). Contrary to one posting, you do not have to PAY for parking, you have to pay for COVERED parking or a garage. The security gates work about 30% of the time. Management could be a little snoody at times. Water pressure sucks!!! bad... The place that they call a dining room is a joke, it's seriously like 7' by 6'. We have a small dining table and really couldn't use it cuz there was no room.

But... We are absolutely MISERABLE in the apt we're in now, so even if you don't choose to live at Holland Lake, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT move to Windrush Apts in Ft. Worth. They are so so so bad. We're breaking our lease there and actually considered moving back to Holland Lake. But we've acquired pets between then and now and couldn't afford the $500 per pet that Holland Lake requires (<--- another con).
