Unless you are a hermit don't do it

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
I lived in this apartment complex for 6 months while renting it for seven. One month before my lease was up I gave my 30 days notice and they told me I would have to wait until the 6th month was up then I could give my notice. Managment changed hands during the time that I lived there and I had previously dicussed with the old manager about removing some border that was in the apartment that had been put up by a previous tenant. She had told me that it would be fine to do so. I did not know that managment had changed, therefore, I started to remove the border and was written up on a violation. I was given 8 lease violations during my duration, but have never had any trouble anywhere I lived before or after. After mentioning my plans to move the managment was actually spotted across the street staring into my apartment. The next day I was given a lease violation for someone being there. This is another thing, unless you have no friends that come over expect a lease violation because they want no one in your apartment but you and if someone is there when you are not you will have all kinds of accusations. The managment and whoever else they so choose will come in and out of the apartment as they please with no notice before or after. The apartments are spacious. Not that well maintained. When I lived there my airconditioning went out on a Saturday afternoon during the mid of June I couldn't get anyone in there to even look at until Monday. And once again I was written up on a lease violation because they said the message I left on Saturday informing them of my broken a/c sounded like I was going to have an outsider fix the problem. I think if I had wanted to I should have been able to, even though I never mentioned doing so because this should not be at my cost. It was over 90 degrees in the apartment. I do not recommend anyone ever live in these apartments unless they are never home, LITERALLY.
