people on here posting that these apartments were horrible obviously have a grudge against the complex. ive been living there for a little over 2 months and absolutely love it. the rooms are HUGE! im in a one bedroom and its more then enough room for my things, my boyfriends, and my 2 month old. the closet is huge as well as the living room. i get treated just fine and have not had a single problem since moving in. the staff is wonderful! they have treated me perfectly since the day i walked in to fill out my app. it is in a very conveniant area...most things are walking distance. its much more then i expected for a low income housing facility. i would highly recommend it to anyone. and just take into consideration that there are 800 units in this place, and only like what....15/20 people had something bad to say. which im sure are the ones who didnt pay there rent on time or got evicted for some reason. i dont understand why they said the things they did. anyways, i love it here, and i recommend it highly!!

Actually, I lived in Baybrook Village Apartments for two years and paid my rent on time EVERY month. The office personnel were still rude, unorganized, and created charges for rent that they claimed was not paid. Luckily, I had proof. Baybrook used to be owned by Gables. THEN, I LOVED living there. Once the new management came, that's when I began to have problems. I would not have moved were it not for the inefficiency of that office!!!

I live in Heritage Park which is the neighborhood behind the Baybrook Village apartments and I have watched the neighborhood go down hill since they turned that place into a section 8 housing project. There are always people out walking the streets, cars ar getting broken into, trash is all over the corners and the cops are there like every night. This place is really a ---- hole now and I would not recommend anyone who is decent to live there.

I live down the street in Heritage Park as well and have noticed a lot of "gangsters" walking up and down my street, checking out houses. Thay all walk back to this apt complex. Looks like they are selling drugs in the park next to the complex too.

Baybrook Village always has "gangster" looking men walking up and down the complex which is very large! I live here and don't feel safe even taking my trash to the dumpster! I have witnessed drug deals. Plus the apartments are not maintained. The air conditioner sucks! This place needs help really bad. I am leaving ASAP. Do yourself a favor and don't move here or even near here!

My husband lived in Baybrook from 1999 to 2001 while we were dating and it was a very nice complex, until the very end of 2001. Things started to go down from there. We recently visited an old friend who still lives there and we couldn't believe how bad it was. When she informed us that it had become a low income apt that explained everything. Just from the short time we were there we heard fighting, loud music, saw small children playing unattended, 3 teenage boys smoking outta a pipe on a balcony facing the parking lot, the list goes on and on. I am very happy we decided to move into another apt and not stay there. I hope our friend moves soon.

FYI to everyone. The apartments are not low income but a tax credit property. Yes there is a big difference. I am a former employee and I still happily live here. My husband used to live in Heritage Park with roommates and he likes it at Baybrook Village a lot better. Also the apartments are in the process of switching management companies so they are no longer tax credit either. I agree with the response that there are close to 800 units here and all you are reading are responses from 7 or 8 unhappy residents who were more than likely neighbors and may have had one "bad neighbor" which you'll find at any property. I think all we are hearing is "stairway gossip".

of course a former employee would call this stairway gossip, but honestly, i would not send my worst enemy there. I agree, when the gables owned it it was nice, now it is very unsafe and this is not gossip-wait until you have to call 911 because your neighbor sets themselves on fire boiling crack(this happened) or when the large boa constrictor is on your back patio and maint. laughs at you!! there is no sugar coating these incidents!!
