Over the last 6 months, since Harbor Group took over control of this property there has been some much needed changes. We have had a complete rehab on the exterior as well as some much needed upgrades to the interior of the units. I have to admit there are some major maintenance issues, but the staff seems to be doing there best getting things fixed. Our A/C unit broke down about 10 times in the last month and then we got a brand new unit and things are so much better. Just today our parking lot got re striped, they started a door to door trash pick up which is awesome! They also got brand new dumpsters, and they make the property look so much better. There has been alot of staff changes and I must say they are all positive. I know alot of my neighbors seem to hate this place, but it doesn't matter where they live - they won't be happy!

I agree changes are being made however i think their priorities are a little out of whack! I mean what's more important having repainted strips for terrible parking or a well lit building at night time! Building 29 hasnt had lights in a month! So when you come home at night you cant even see your feet in front of you let alone the keyhole to get in the door! Other than that MAJOR safety issue! things are getting better.

Whatever.. it's been almost a month in a half since the lights have been out.. for the past two weeks.. the lights are on one night and off the next.. or on just half the night.. which makes no sense to me. there hasn't been that much rain. Last month.. my bf was walking the dogs at 3am in the morning.. and happened to stumble in on a guy that was going over a fence.. he asked him what he was doing and the guys said he lived there but didnt have his keys. My bf didnt believe him so he ran home to get his cell phone to call the cops.. when he got back the girl whom actually lived there was standing on her patio holding a knife.. The guy had gotten in through the sliding door and was going through her laundry but she scared him off. How scary is that? When you dont have a lit building, you are attracting the robbers and weirdos. If I had the time to move my stuff.. I would have broke my lease months ago, but I work and go to school and barely have time to make it home to sleep. I do know that I would like to feel safe for the 8 hours that i am there though. I've tried to make it habbit to leave my kitchen light on so I can see my keys when Im trying to open my front door. How sad is that? I also will not walk my dogs once it gets dark. Anyway, these apartments suck.. and I have had nothing but trouble with them since I have moved in.. and I'm a pretty easy person to please. I cant wait for my lease to be up in January!
