I have been a resident for 2 years almost now. We are a young family with babies. We have liked the apartments for a while, but yes the new management is not doing much for the apartments. The crime is getting worse. There is always a younger guy in a white car speeding through the parking lot (almost hitting my babies) and blaring music at all hours of the night. Neighbors of mine have had run ins with this totally crazy witch lady (literally). She is phycotic and will make alot of problems for you. There are HUGE waterbugs that keep coming back unless you spray every other week. They fall on you when your sleeping. I keep my place clean so it is not my fault their there. We have had ant and spider problems. My poor baby at a year old got bit by a spider and had to have her leg squeezed to get the poison out. The apartments are very old on the inside and the paint job sucks. Their are cracks and holes everywhere. Your electrical bill will be very high. We had water leaks. Other than that it was ok... but it is getting worse.... !

OMG I totally agree, I used to live there, but after a break in, and other incidents that management did nothing about, I moved. There is also a very big mold problem, that they just paint over, and it comes back, so they paint again. The dog problem has gotten out of hand I think there are more dogs there on the restricted list, than the ones that are allowed, not to mention the cat situation, if you care for your car and paint job, don't move there as they let the cats run wild (no leash as they make the dogs have) and they get all over the cars and scratch them up. The manager says oh their just wild cats, NOT. I've noticed they are doing some curb appeal, well how is that they have the money for that, when they raise rents every time you turn around, do not provide any form of security (hence all the breakins and car vandalisms)and never fix anything properly. But hey it will look good, except for all the trash you can see any weekend if you drive through the place.

OMG!!.. Break-ins happen EVERYWHERE!! Even houses.. Can you believe that?? And I've never seen a cat on a leash and if I ever do, pretty sure that person is going to look like a dumb ass. If you have a problem with the cats... Try calling THE ANIMAL SHELTER, that's what most normal people would do. I've lived at Westlake for 4 months now, and I must say that the maintenance has been on top of everything that needs to be repaired in my apartment.. The manager is extremely friendly and obviously cares about her residents and her property. The property is currently being renovated, but the hassle will be well worth it in the long run. Trash happens EVERYWHERE... If you see trash, why don't you pick it up, save yourself some "bitching time". And they do have a courtesy officer. Maybe if you would have went to the RESIDENT POOL PARTY you would have gotten to meet him as most every resident that attended did. And gas is going up too, are you going to write something ------ about Shell or Tetco. People need to really think about these stupid little things before they write useless stuff and make theirselves look like a dumb ass! And if you are going to voice your opinion, and leave your name anonymous, at least let the front office know what your stupid concerns are.
