The majority of complaints in this apt complex is true.

The new management Maven Management are remodeling all the apts. EPT Management was far worse. They show promise but still have many things to work out. I have lived here for almost 4 years now. Getting management to do anything is esp. difficult. The biggest frustration is getting a vehicle towed. College kids having parties park anywhere. After the first 2 notes or so, you just want to get some chains and tow it out yourself. The sign across from the office says towing will be enforced at all times, however, you can't call the towing directly. They need authorization from management. You call the 24- maint number to get a hold of the courtesy officer to help you and no one returns your calls. Then you call them again 10 hrs later to have them recall the officer and they refuse. They won't contact management becuase a towing request is too petty even when the vehicle is parked behind you and you can't get out. My wife has been late to work numerous times because of it.

Maintenance is a heartache most of the time. They are comprised of mostly teenagers who just graduated high school. I do home repairs in my spare time for friends that I work with, so I know how to fix things. I would do it myself, except I don't want to be held responsible if something goes wrong. Just some more of the problems that I have experienced; no hot water for over 3 weeks. Kept getting told it was on, and finally someone told me that I needed to let it run for 30 min to have the circulation pumps reach my apt. No problems after that. The water is shut off numerous times a month. I can understand that, it is an old complex. Sewage was pouring out of a clean out drain all over the driveway. I told the office numerous times about it. Finally, I had to call the Wichita Falls Health Dept about it. They had the ENTIRE maint crew out there cleaning it.

The A/C units are WAY under rated for the Square footage in the apts. They constantly stay on which results in power bills over 300, sometimes even 400.

You might ask why haven't I moved. I'm military and I am leaving here soon (Feb 07), and I move enough and I can't find a better apt that is this size for a comparable rate.

It is really frustrating dealing with the management. If you honestly want to get things fixed, you need to call the North Tx Rental Prop Assoc at 940-322-7607. Its amazing how fast things get done.
