The apartments are close to the base, which was great. Our apartment was fully furnished which was a blessing. The furniture wasnt beautiful, but it worked. Our landlord, Jack, was strict on the rules, but for good reason. Guests were to park in the middle so that the people actually paying rent there could park along the building. Once another resident pushed his way into my friend house while we were hanging out, and our husbands were on night duty. He stumbled and landed on my 2 month old son, and hurt him pretty bad. We went to Jack and he took care of everything. He looked after us girls while our husbands werent able to, so we all felt safe there and to me that is more important than "nice" furniture and new appliances. Jack also made sure I had a ride to my docs appointments when I was pregnant and we didnt have a car.
