These apartments, and the 2 houses on the outside are SAFE, economical,QUIET and Clean!! I have stayed there twice, once 6 years ago- when my husband was trainin and just recently when he was cross-training. Both times was wonderful. This time we stayed in the house on the outside and it was awesome - the yard was full of mature trees with beautiful birds nesting in them!!! So cool. My 4 year old and I boughta bird bath and used to watch the pretty Cardinals, finches and Oreoles bath in the morning. There is also a large grass area outside of the fence for bigger kids. The house itself IS old and not perfect BUT like I said it's Safe, quiet, clean, and SUPER Close to the base. Enjoy your visit to Wichita Falls- It has a bad wrap for nothing to do but I thought it was awesome. FYI there is an awesome place called Medicine Park -2 hours away (Oklahoma) that is really coool. Swimmin, Buffalo, Hawks, sight seeing, and a really cool resturant that has fancy dinning for couples. I can't think of the name - it doesn't look that nice from outside but it is where the road forks to go up to medicine park - It's really good and not too expensive!!
