My husband and I have lived here for just over a year now in a second floor apartment and we've been so happy that we've signed on for another year. The apartment is just the right size for 2 people and 2 cats (it's a 2 bed/2 bath). The appliances aren't super-modern, but the moment we've called the apartment office for repairs we've received service within 24 hours (during the week). The maintenance guy is very nice and very thorough. He always gets everything done right the first time around. The office staff is also very help, addressing concerns right away.

The grounds are kept very neat and clean, including the pool area. The parking is, unfortunately, limited, but my assigned spot is literally in front of the staircase up to our apartment, so I've had no complaints.

We also love that everything is very close by. We walk to the grocery stores (Smith's and Winegars) instead of driving as they're so close. There are also a lot of fast food places, convenience stores, a video store, and a very tasty bakery. The bus stops are also within a short walking distance. The other nice thing we find is that the complex is situated by nice, well kept older subdivisions. It's a great place to live if you like to take walks for fun, or if you don't own a car.

The only real problem we've had with the complex is that it IS noisy. It's not the neighbors, it's the Les Schwabb tires. Their phone is SOOO loud that in the summer we often wake up to hearing it ring. The train is also loud on the rare occasion it goes by and honks. I honestly have never heard dogs barking.

The noise you hear from Les Shwab isn't actually their phone, I'm not sure what it is, but I do know that it goes off at 10:45am and 11:00am sharp, you could set your watch to it. I lived up the street from there and dealt with it for a little over two years and am currently considering Cherry Lane.
