I have never lived somewhere when I have had so many ants. I had a flying ants nest in my walls and under the carpet. I would literally wake up to 100's of them everywhere. (All over my bed, the floor, the window's, my babys room, ect.) Not only that we have regular ants everywhere to the point that you couldnt even leave a EMPTY soda can on the coffee table without waking up to a trail of ants leading up to it. (This was all season's) They were digging holes in the carpets to get out. We had an exterminator spray nemerous times and it would not resolve the problem, finally they were like "Well sorry, I dont know what to tell ya" That to me is a pretty poor way to deal with this issue. They should have atleast ripped out the carpet and located the nest. What a health concern, espicially when you have a 4 month old baby.


*** I also lived in the same building that was previously mentioned about being cold. My baby was about 3 months at the time and in the middle of winter the heat when out over 4 times in one month. It was so horrible

Call the Health Dept on them. They will make them take care of the ants and furnace problem because those are considered health issues.

I considered that, but we just went ahead and moved out. I feel bad for the person in that unit though, I had asked the office if they had ripped out the carpets and found it when I was there turning in my mail keys and they said "no, there is no reason to" im mean, after we had scrubbed this apartment top to bottom, not one spec of dirt in there, the next day on the walk through, there were flying ants already all over in there. Hopefully the next people will call. Also I had the exterminator tell me there are quite a few units that are infested with mice! Definately a health department issue!
