I have lived in the green acre apartments (the other site operated by these people)for about 9 months now, it is supposed to be very comparable to the Pepper Ridge, same layouts, etc... I have to warn anyone that may be thinking of moving into either site. I was never allowed to see the inside of the apt before moving in (my fault I guess). When I got there, and walked in for the first time, I cried. It was HORRIBLE. My downstairs neighbors are chain smokers and the smoke smell is so thick that you would think I am also a chain smoker (never smoked a day in my life). There were pet "stains" on the carpet by the front door, that you could smell as you walk in ) nothing has been able to get that smell out. There were numerous things wrong, kitchen cupboards broken, the screen to my balcony was sitting on my "deck" with a huge hole in it, etc... NONE of this has been fixed ( I have called numerous times). I was promised basic cable included in my rent, I get two cable channels, I guess thats as basic as you can get. I have box elder bugs so bad that I have to shake my clothes and shoes before I put them on. The neighbors are spanish speaking only and so loud that my son cannot sleep at night, I have had to move him into my room, just to get him away from the noise they make ALL THE TIME, but that is no surprise because they have 6 people (4 children) living in a two bedroom. There is no parking, if you leave the house on a weeknight, you might as well just go park up the road at the Smiths. I have never dealt with such RUDE, SNOTTY, CRUDE office staff, I went to drop off my rent check one day and by the time I left, I ended up calling her a B*tch to her face and slamming the door !!!!!!!!!!!! All in all, I never thought I would be living in such a ---- hole... better yet, Im surprised they havent been shut down by the health dept... BEWARE !!!!!!! Oh yeah, they will have no problem raising your rent, mine went up 40, and for what, CRAP !!!!!!! I will be moving out shortly..

I had no idea they had another location. It's the exactly like Pepperidge. That is unbelievable!! You have described exactly what we lived in. We knew the price was way low, but we didn't know that it was low income housing. We would have stayed away. I it I think it's ridiculous that people have to live in complete slum and dirt JUST because they pay less for a place to live. The staff sounds the same, the noise level sounds the same, the amount of people per room sound the same, the parking...I don't think anyone should be able to get away with allowing people to live in filth and dilapidated apartments...not considering MULTIPLE units owned by the same nasty people.
