To start I rented in this complex because I was pressed for time. I have regretted it since day one. Not only do people let their dogs do their business on the grass, they don't pick up after them either as it states in the rental agreement. Speaking of Rental agreements they charge a LEASE iniation fee of $200 plus a $160 Refundable deposit. Do not think that they do all they are supposed to before you move in as I do know that they come in after the former tenant moves out throw anything that is left out of the apartment (throw into dumpster), call carpet cleaning company (who is in the apartment for maybe 15 minutes. They say the carpet is clean when you move in. It is clean for a day or two then spots start showing up. Walls are never painted unless damage has occurred. My roof looks like it was painted once and has not been since. Plugs don't hold very well they all need to be replaced. Breakers hum when in use especially the water heater and a/c, which I believe to be thirty plus (30 ) Years old. Fridge is so old it has a plastic door inside and is NOT frost-free. There is a 2 foot florescent light over the sink that hums when on. No screens when I moved in till I complained about the bugs. I live in a bottom floor unit and the toilet leaked from the base when I would use it or when someone above would flush when I moved in. They fixed that. Then the tank started leaking after the base was fixed. I reported that and it got fixed. The bathroom faucet broke and would only run cold water, Reported that and they fixed it. There is plastic walls adhered to the tile around the tub and the mold grows from under it. To fix this problem I just pour bleach around the edge of the tub and scrub. Outside the security lighting is very poor. Drive through the complex at night to see what I mean. Drive the whole complex you will see where the trash bins are located. I believe that they are required to have fencing and gates around them. There are speed bumps on the main drive so be careful if you have a lowered vehicle. If you park on the drive they will put a boot on your vehicle and make you pay to remove it, I have seen this happen twice since I have been here. Parking is only permitted in the parking stalls, which are always full. Walking from another part of the complex is very common. Smoking is permitted!!!!! But the state says that it is up to the owner to enforce the no smoking rules for public places. My apartment always smells like a CHEAP MOTEL when I have not been home all day. These places should be condemned, because of the rusted out metal stairs and bolts pulling out of the face boards. I was told that one of the stairwells collapsed a few years ago and people got hurt. A stairwell as you drive around has 4x6's holding the second floor landing up. This is just past the office on the right. It is noticeable.

Sorry to inform you. I moved out in march of 2008. as for the pictures go look for yourself. Stairwell heading to apt 191/192 for the bolts, check the stairs from behind heading to the Rear Laundry Room and inside.

Wow if it's that horrible couldn't you take better pictures? stop complaining and get a life. Oh yeah your probably one of those losers that don't know how to pay rent on time and still living at pepper ridge.

Hey RoCkOn08, Your an idiot. Those pictures were clear and to the point. Maybe the lighting is not so great and maybe these pictures are limited to a few areas, maybe not, don't know. Heaven forbid someone does not support or give positives to your standards. Yes, there are idiots at all apartment complexes and you are one as long as you knock ALL of those who give it negatives. I see by your several comments that you are a strong supporter of YOUR EXPERIENCES. Not all that say the place sucks are idiots. You have made yourself out to be an idiot.
