Great Place to Rent and to Call Home!

First and foremost, I am not an employee of Pepper Ridge Apartments, I have neither been employed by Pepper Ridge Apartments nor have I been paid and/or compensated to write my review of Pepper Ridge Apartments. I moved from Montana to Utah approximately 2 years ago and the first and last place I called was Pepper Ridge Apartments. Prior to my move I called Pepper Ridge to have them fax me an application and the cost(s) for the deposit, rent rates, etc... and I have to say that the ladies in the office made sure that I received all the papers needed within 15 minutes of my call. They were very professional, courteous and very accommodating.
Of all the places that I have lived before, I have never had such a fast turnaround. Within that same day of filling out the application and all required papers and faxing them back to the office I was approved and setup to move into my new apartment within the next month. All I had to do was send in my deposit and application fee and I did. I informed them that I was planning on moving in the next month and they placed my apartment on hold till I arrived (I paid my deposit and application fee and they did hold my new apartment for me as promised).
Once I moved into my new apartment I have to say that I was very impressed with the welcoming from the ladies in the office. Not only were they courteous and professional and answered all of my questions, they made sure that I had everything necessary to move in. They sat down with me and informed me of the rules, when rent was due etc... and gave me a tour of the apartment and the complex grounds. The minute I moved in I knew that this was going to be a good place to call home.
In opposition to one or some of the posts on the message boards, my apartment didn't smell at all, there was no cooking food smell, the apartment was very clean, and everything was in great shape. The neighbors were quiet and courteous, all appliances worked very well, not a burnt out light bulb in the place and the apartment was very spacious. I was very close to the laundromat (those all worked) and I never had a problem finding a parking space. Very, very few times did I have to park on the opposite side of the apartment building and it was never an issue and I'll tell you why. All of the negative posts on the message boards about the individuals who couldn't find a parking space and had to walk to their apartment must be fat and lazy and allergic to exercise (just my opinion). In the very rare and very few instances where I couldn't find a parking space I just chalked it up that I'll be getting more exercise to walk to my apartment. Once you move into the complex it is and was very clear to me that there was no assigned parking and I understood that and to those who complain about the parking situation clearly did not listen nor take the time to understand the rules and regulations at Pepper Ridge.
I never had a problem with the apartment, the staff or with anything else for that matter. Whenever it snowed the maintenance crew was up way before anyone else making sure that the stairs, walkways and driveway(s) were clear and that the paths were always laid down with snow melter. Another good thing that I noticed was that the lawn mowing individuals always showed up and mowed and not once have I ever walked the grounds of the complex and noticed and/or stepped in animal feces. I don t know about you, but when I walk I keep both eyes open. When the overhead light in the stairwell burnt out, I called the maintenance individuals and within 10 minutes they had the new light bulb installed. It was a very fast turnaround.
I guess I just don't understand some of the negative posts on this message board. Not everything is going to mold or form to your liking and you have the responsibility to take what you want and leave the rest and if you can t make whatever it is you're complaining about fit to your liking then move on!
Pepper Ridge Apartments is a great place to live through and through - granted nothing is 100% and to expect that expectation is unrealistic. It seems that nowadays everyone wants the best of everything for nothing in return. Those individuals posting negative reviews on this message board with that type of attitude are very pompous. Here's another thing I noticed nowadays; with the explosion of the internet from message boards, blogs, myspace and facebook, everyone now has a "voice", including myself.
Those who post negative reviews are doing more harm to themselves than the target of their opinion. If you have nothing nice to say about something or anyone, just keep your negativity to yourself. Here's another thought (again, just my opinion), just because you have a voice and/or a negative opinion about someone and/or something and you think you can talk and/or write about it, it doesn't mean you should (this goes to all of the individuals posting negative reviews).
I highly recommend the apartments to anyone who is looking to rent in Clearfield, Utah. Since day one, everyone was nice and professional, everything was and is in great working condition and it is a peaceful place, contrary to some of the negative posts on the message board. After reading some of the negative reviews on the message boards regarding Pepper Ridge Apartments, I felt it was necessary to describe my experience. I am an individual who thinks that you give credit where credit is due and Pepper Ridge Apartments deserves all that is good.
