Horizon properties website states you can relocate within the community for no out of pocket expenses, when I inquired, the Pinnacle management said it was written in the contract of a $300.00 fee. What is the deal' Also, the sprinkler system is out of control, my car is almost ruined with waterspots, I've asked nearly everyday if a garage is available, but to no avail. Also, my carpet is so warn it make the apartment look rundown, yet I pay a premium price for the rental unit.

I know what you mean about the sprinkler system! I used to live there & right in front of my designated parking spot (which I had to pay extra for with my apartment) was a sprinkler head. It sprayed hard water all over my car EVERY night. One morning I couldn't even see out of my windshield. I tried using my wipers but it just smeared a little. I complained to the management & asked if they could turn the sprinkler down or off so it wouldn't hit my car. They said all they could do is have a maintenance person turn it down a little, but if anyone did that, it didn't help. I also asked them to come look at my car because I couldn't see out of the windshield & they wouldn't so I asked if they were going to pay to get it cleaned for me & of course the answer was no. I heard another customer complain about the sprinklers while I was in the office another time too. Unless you're lucky enough to get a garage with your unit there are no places to park where your car won't get hit by sprinklers & that water will leave spots & build-up everywhere! I found that a rough-surfaced sponge & vinegar helped get it off my windshield, but was afraid to use it on the paint.

I was told today that you can no longer relocate within the community at any price. It seems it is too confusing. (For tenants or staff, I am not sure which). but it seems to be an example of focusing on the needs of the staff over the needs of the tenants.
