I have lived in Allegro for two years and I am very grateful to be moving at the end of the month. I have never seen such a poorly run apartment complex. My water heater went out 4 weeks in a row and it took the staff two to three days at a time with absolutley no help or care that we were out of hot water for several days for 4 weeks straight. It takes them forever to ice and shovel the parking lots and sidewalks and if you live on the back street you might as well forget having anything done to your bottom landing. I have found the "ladies" that run the office are rude and could care less about anyone or anything except their money. The noise factor is outrageous you can hear everyone and everything in that place and if you call to complain the office staff shrugs their shoulders and pretty much tells you to deal with it. They also rent out apartments to a place called Oakwood who then in turn rents them out furnished to their clients. We had one of these apartments below us and there was a tenant that lived below us who would go in their bathroom and smoke and turn on the fan so that they didnt have the smell in their apartment so it came in to our apartment, we complained to Allegro and they refused to take care of them because they were Oakwood people yet they wouldnt give us Oakwoods number so that we could complain to them. In the end we had to go to a lawyer and have them write a legal complaint and finally Allegro rerouted vents after two months of arguments with them. I WOULD DEFENITELY NOT RECOMMEND ALLEGRO TO ANYONE.
