Don't do it......

I've lived at Allegro for a year now and it was nowhere near worth the price. They are, by far, the most expensive place in the area and you get nothing extra for the money. Two months ago, I put in a repair notice for the leaking ice maker and dryer that wouldn't get hot enough to dry clothes. Our lease is finally up and we're getting ready to leave and neither have been repaired. Of all things, they remembered to tell us that our rent would be going up if we decided to stay!!!
The pool is a good point that other reviewers have brought up but most of it is because of the other tenants. They let their kids run all over, jump/dive into the pool, and get in the hot tub. Because the hot tub is connected to the pool, you get splashed with cold water constantly. Only comment for the manager, is that there was plenty of times that she was there in the pool area witnessing actions that were against the rules but did nothing about it.
Parking, I thought, was OK but maybe I lucked out. Their policy on WHERE your spot will be is dumb. The excuse I got was that years ago someone randomly gave out spots and now it would be a hassle to straighten out. I don't care; live with the hassle, I want my spot close to my apartment. Weird.
Be sre to check out Alpine Meadows in Sandy, Pinnacle in Draper, or any number of other places before making the decision to spend all that money at Allegro. It's just not worth it.
