I would never live here again

I lived at these apartments for a year and a half. I hated living here. If you rent a first floor apartment, you will hear (and smell!) everything your upstairs neighbor does. It sounds like a thundering herd across the ceiling.

I don't know who designed the apartment windows, but mine were the worst I have ever seen. To "lock" the window, you had to actually push the window away from the seal. This allowed a steady stream of cold air into the apartment, keeping your heating bill pretty high. My parents were sitting on my couch at Christmas and literally felt the wind come through the closed window and move things on the couch!

After living in the floor plan of the bigger 1 bedroom for a year and half, I have to say it is poorly designed as well. I don't know anyone who has a table small enough to fit in the dining room and the bedroom is basically the size of a queen bed. I am normally good at picking up these things, but the model had "mini" furniture in it!

Other things to mention...you can't get cable/cable modem at this complex. They have a contract with DirecTV. Their "high speed internet" is shared among far too many people and is at times as slow as dial up. I quickly switched to DSL.

There are also a ton of kids...more than I have ever seen in an apartment complex. The kids in my section were chronically unsupervised. One little kid (about 4) actually followed us around because he was so lonely from being ignored. I don't think the management of the complex pays attention to this like other complexes I have lived in.

The amenities are okay. They have big grills anyone can use, a 24 hour fitness room, a pool, basketball courts, and garages. Every apartment has a full size washer and dryer. They aren't worth the actual issues with the apartment though. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

Lived here?

It must have been just your apartment, because I also lived in a large one bedroom for a year and a half, and I never had a problem with that. I loved living there, but they are major slackers when it comes to enforcing the rules. The apartment above me had 2 adults and three smalls kids, and it is against the law to have more than 3 people in a one bedroom. There were nights where my dogs were barking and my husband and I couldn't sleep, because the neighbors above would literally not sleep! Even with the 3 kids, we heard crying, screaming and jumping all hours of the night along with very loud music. We mentioned it, but they didn't give a damn. Also, the manager there would bring her friends to the the swimming pool and get drunk every weekend at the pool area. She would even let her kids get on the treadmill with their swimsuits and do whatever they want. As for when I did have to go to the office, I would see all three people in the office playing on myspace every single time. As much as I loved it here, the management needs to be more professional.
