I lived in the snow garden apartments for 4 months because I was told that it was the best place to live in ephraim. WRONG!!! it was a fairly nice building. fairly well upkept although not always clean. we had to clean quite a bit before we could even move in. tenants arent allowed to have the opposite sex in thebedroom and they have a curfew at midnight for the opposite sex (remember this is a college-age apartment setting!!! not for twelve-year-olds!) this is a off-campus apartment not college-dorms. if i wanted the rules of the dorms i would have lived in them. they have a fairly nice hot tub... when its working and not locked. it was locked for most of the year and when they did finally open it up they had to do all kinds of repairs and it was open only a small fraction of the semester. the managers were very strict and did midnight checks, where they would go around and knock on everyone's door to make sure there wasnt any of the opposite sex in your apt. The rent doesnt seem that bad until you do the math. it averages over 250 a month per person with 6 people in each apartment. thats 1500 a month. even with the included utilities, there is NO WAY that the apartment could be worth near that much. it's there way of ripping off first-time renters because most students don't know any better. there are also rules that you can't have any alcohol in the apartments, no matter your age. they make it seem more like a private-christian school dorm not a off-campus regular old apartment. parking is horrible. there is no assigned parking and not near enough of it in the first place. sometimes i would have to park clear on the other side, which can be quite difficult when i'm carrying loads of books and groceries. the noise through the walls and ceilings is enough to move out too. I will NEVER live in these apartments again and would not recommend them to anybody!

This kid doesn't understand that all housing in Ephraim has similar rules and alcohol is prohibited just about everywhere. No opposite sex in the bedroom? Duh, that reason is obvious.
