Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I just signed my 3rd year lease at this complex, the one across from Bill's Lounge. The complex is relatively quiet, a few parties on weekends which is expected with mainly young renters. Sound insulation is poor, can hear your neighbors talking and shutting doors. Parking is average, though for some renters it's far from their apartment. Management takes complaints seriously. Maintenance is done in a fairly timely matter, though I'm still waiting on new blinds, it's been over 8 months now. Visiters are allowed on certain days to the pool area, but it's a good thing, so we don't get a bunch of kids taking over the pool who don't even live there. Not being able to throw x-mas trees and furniture in garbages outside does suck, we have no way to get rid of things as they don't do "junk" pick ups in apartment complexes, but that's a norm in most complexes. There are a lot of kids that live here, and 90% of them are not supervised, this can get bad. I've had things thrown at my apt building and stuff done to my car, because parents let their kids run free, youngest I've seen was a least 3. They've raised the rent on me about 4 times since I moved in, too. My car was broken into here once. There's good and there's bad about this complex, but for the amount of rent I pay and for the size of my apartment, I'm willing to put up with a little bad.
