I moved here in March, and everything was fine. My main complaints are the fees such as water sewer and trash. I lived in another apt. community in Murray I paid 17.00 a month, here you pay anyware from 24-36 a month that is a rip off. and my main complaint is the A/C I live on the Third Floor and my apt faces East. As soon as it started getting hot my A/C unit turned on and has yet to shut off and Im not joking. My electric Bill went from 28.00 a month to 130.00 in one month ouch. I have placed 4 work orders and just today placed another, because everytime they come to fix it, it gets hotter and hotter. The first time they came, they put in a new digital thermastat, the second time they added freone, the third time they blew out the exaust on the roof from the cotton Trees, the forth time they came in my apt. at 10:30pm and shut my A/C off due to flooding my down stairs neighbors A/C Closet. And now God only know what excuse they will come up with. THEY JUST NEED TO INSTALL A NEW UNIT PERIOD. My house avrg. 80' the coldest it ever got was at 3am and it was 74'. The A/C unit has to be 30 yrs old. And although the air that comes out of the vent is cool, the blower fan is inadiquate and very little air flow keeps the A/C from cooling the Apt. The maint. men say there is nothing they can do. that all the apartments are like that, and that Mgnt. doesnt want to spend the money required to update the units. Oh another thing you should know. As i stated before this it the 5th work order for the A/C. Now Im getting letters on my door telling me that there have been complaints about me smoking on my Balcony, huh Funny I dont Smoke. AAAHHGGG I cant wait till my lease is up!!! 611.00 dollars a month is what I pay for rent. This apartment is worth only 530.00 at the most. look around in the Tribune you can find much nicer places for less and mabe even a extra bedroom for what thay want here.

Im having the same problem with my ac. gets worse every time they touch it

I was having the same problem no A/C for about 3 weeks, they had to come out about 4 times to fix it. The last time they came out he said well i wont be able to look at right now but here is a swamp cooler and he said he would be back the next day. Well he didnt come back and i called management who told me it will be 48-72 hours before they get out to fix it. i got mouthy with her and they ended up coming to fix it. Moral of the story you have to be rude to the management office to get ANYTHING accomplished
