I lived in these apartments for about a year in 2001-2002. First of all they assured me that most of the apartments had been redecorated and were in good condition. I paid the extra to be on the top floor assuming that it was better. They showed me my apartment and I was happy, I signed the contract and then the day I was to move in they changed my apartment. I literally bawled when I walked in. The carpets were dingy and dirty, there were cigarette butts all over on the balcony and the cabinets and drawers were falling apart. Of course now the nice people that helped me get in all turned into the people that could care less. I stayed their for 10 months and then decided to move out because I could take this little ghetto any more. I wrote out a 30 day notice and paid one extra month of rent. They then called me and told me I had to pay 10 days extra cause they were not able to rent it out until the 10th. I went back in and gave them a money order at their request and heard nothing else. Now here I am a year and a half later and they are trying to collect past due rent from me. This place and its workers (besides angie- who by the way got fired, probably because of her good work ethics) are absolute liars and manipulaters. So if youj are looking for a place to call home...dont check out the springs of country woods.
