Really, DO NOT MOVE HERE! We had to call the cops on our neighboors 8 times, and were they ever kicked out after 2 months of domestic violence' NO! We even got blood on our front door from the guy breaking his beer bootle over another guys head at our door! We complained many times and the staff always said "It is really hard to evict people". Yet it is so easy to kick them out if they pay their rent late.
Also, illigals played their music in their cars outside and had raging parties in the parking lot! Security drove by and would say nothing. We had a leak from the upstairs water heater. They did not replace the carpet. They just "cleaned" it which left a terrible musty smell which never went away. The staff is rude and they could care less about anyone who lives there. The window sills are filled with mold. The gates never worked. The mailboxes were "broken" for 5 months which forced everyone to drive to the post office to get their mail everyday. Serioulsy...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! It is expensive (they advertise 749 for a 1 bedroom, but we paid 770), plus you pay ALL utilities as well. Some people who live there are drug dealers and wife abusers (aka. our next door neighbors)...even though the office says they do a thougrough background check. I could go on and on, but I will stop here in hopes that you choose not to rent from here!

Just becuse I did not spell a few things correctly does not mean that I do not know how to spell. I am an English major! Secondly, maybe my neighbors were not illegals, but they did not speak a word of english and they partied all night to accordian music! It is not my job to clean mold off the windows before I move in! That is their problem. It was not mold from me living there. I did clean it, but some of it was so stuck on that it did not come off with bleach! It needed to be repainted. I am so sure that you are an employee of Remington or you would not be so "GUNG HO" about them! They were terrible to us! I am just so glad we have a house now and don't have to deal with stupid people!

I lived at Remington before and I know the staff pretty well, I also know the staff is the same since I lived there and can tell you that everything you are saying sounds nothing like what I experienced at Remington. One thing that really puzzles me is how in the world you could possibly know that the people blasting their music are illegals(and by the way, learn how to spell)I highly doubt you asked for their residency cards when you saw them. Your review says more about your ignorant self than about Remington. I had a great experience when I lived there, the manager was very courteous and the maintenance staff was always there within a couple of hours everytime I called. I actually was there when the mailboxes got broken into and can tell you that 5 months is an exageration. The mailboxes were down for a month maximum and I really appreciated the staff taking the necessary precautions to make sure my information and identity were not stolen. As far as the gates, I personally witnessed people hitting the gates with their car in a lazy attempt not to go around to the State Street entrance and that is not the management's fault. The one thing I would have done differently is actually pass on the cost of repairs to the residents!! but they did not do it. FYI, mold in the window sills is a housekeeping issue, not a maintenance issue. I guarantee you if you cleaned your windows, you would not have that problem. If I still lived there, you would be the type of neighbor I would not be sad to see go.
