Welcome to Cloverland! My apartment was nice when I first looked at it.. When I moved it that was another story. Have you ever heard of a water that sounded like a popcorn maker' Well turn on the water and the management says it's just the "sedimates" in the bottom popping. It's great espically if you take a shower, do laundry, wash dishes, etc before you goto bed.. You'll have a good 30-40 minutes of loud popping sounds. As stated in another review I read, those vents in the water closet make it sound like the people that are outside your apartment are actually in your apartment. You'll also be lucky if you have a neighbor that can actually speak english. Domestic violence is a common occurence. I always hear my neighbors swearing, kids screaming, sounds of people getting hit, all kinds of crap. There are wild cats the roam too.. I get home at 11:30pm and I see this one white cat in particular... it leaves footprings all over your car... you also get the ocassional bum going through the trash cans in the middle of the night.. nice site to come home to. Management is a scam to say the least.. they will rape you for every penny you have. I made a $500 dollar deposit before I moved in... then when I moved in, I got charged a $25 move-in fee twice... and then came up on the next bill! Recently I asked when rent was due.. Rene told me I could pay on the 6th.. well the 6th that month was a friday so I figured I pay it then.. so I did and she charged me a $50 late fee, even though she told me I could pay on the 6th. If you have sexually active neighbors, be assured you can hear everything... I hear everything from my master bedroom and even in the bathroom... Not a good recommendation if you have kids... There is a lot of car break ins.. my car alarm goes off in the night often (could be from the wild cats too) .. There free internet is on a old school computer with dial up access that kicks you off.. luckly Comcast offers broadband service in this area! During the spring and summer months, the parking lot is a wild zoo full of kinds... I can't tell you how many times kids have run out in front of me while driving to my parking spot, which is nowhere near my apartment complex might I add. They are noisy as can be too. This last fall when I first moved in, I had my front door open while I was bringing some things in... come to find two kids in my house looking at my fish tank... The swearing and volence that goes on is annoying. Take away the lame management, drug dealers, illegal aliens, etc... it's a wonderful place to live.
