I currently still live in these apartments. The rent has gone up. Also, the renter is responsible for all utilities - power, water, and gas. The outside grounds are not well maintained. Pets are allowed for an additional nonrefundable deposit and an additional $25 per month per pet.

While my apartment is nice, repairs, if needed, are slow. Also, I was recently unemployed for 4 months. I made arrangements with them for payments on my rent and signed promissary notes. They continued to post 3-day notices on my door reqularly for which they charge an "attorney's" fee. Also, they continued to charge a $50 monthly late fee with a $10 a day fee until the balance is paid in full. However, there is a catch. Money you pay is not applied to your rent if you are behind - but rather to the fees and then you continue to get charged late fees on the unpaid rent. This was explained to me by management because I had asked if they were charging me fees for fees. This policy makes getting caught up a very difficult task. Negotiation is very difficult to impossible. It is about raking in on those fees.

In addition, per the other review and the garbage disposals - it took 3 calls for my dishwasher and 4 calls for my garbage disposal which was finally replaced with a new one. My apartment was not painted prior to my move in and took several calls to resolve. I made a list of all damages and repairs in the apartment which I turned into them when I moved in.
