I lived at James Pointe by myself for a year. At first it was a decent experience... then minor things began to happen for instance I got rid of my pet I had at the time and they tried to charge me pet rent after I had notified them prior in advance. I actually received one of their famous little notices on the door two months after the notification of the pet being gone that I needed to pay them. I called them about this issue and they just apologized that no one took record of me letting them know that my pet was no longer there.

Then they came back a month later and stated they mis-calculated my pro-rate rent when I moved in, that I had to pay back to them for their error. I found this to be aggravating... I don't believe it is my fault that your staff could not do math.

About 6 months in to this mess, I had a car constantly in my parking stall, I called to complain to management and they told me to leave a friendly little note on the vehicle. I thought this was a little ridiculous, I mean... I paid my rent on time, I had that spot reserved for me and now I have to write a little note for some one in my stall. The vehicle still continued to park in my stall and I felt as if my issues were severely ignored.

After that, I called and left message because my neighbor above was very loud... I could cleary hear his TV or stereo in my apartment at all hours of the night. I just recently had surgery and had called to complain that during the day it's not a big problem but when it's that loud and it's late at night something should be done. They advised me to go up there and knock on his door and ask him to see if that would help. I couldn't believe that. Do they do anything in that office' I finally did that, he still kept the music up fairly loud and I called them again. It was after hours so I had to leave a message and I didn't receive a call back at all from them. I had to deal with that neighbor the entire time and I had made numerous complaints as well as had the cops called.

After moving out of their complex I received a bill from them and had some questions and the man I spoke with was very rude and arrogant. He couldn't seem to answer my questions clearly and basically made me feel very regretful of the choice I had made to ever live there. He then hung up on me with much distaste and still did not answer any of the questions I had.


I strongly do not recommend this apartment complex for numerous reasons including the ones above.
