My pregnant wife and I have lived here for about 11 months. Our lease is up soon and there's no way we are staying. The place looks good to the eye at first and has plenty of room for a couple without children or much baggage. However, when anything goes wrong, don't expect it to get fixed at all in any manner of a hurry. The maintenance guys are nice and friendly, will greet you and be polite. I think some even work hard. My experience is that complaints fall on deaf ears in the office. Every complaint or problem we had had to be called in multiple times before maintenance guys ever knew about it. It was always pointed to us as if we never called the 1st time.

Couple examples...

We were without heat for 3 weeks this past winter because the motor inside our heater when out (or fan) not sure exactly. It would have taken 1 hour to install, in and out, but it took 3 weeks. We froze many nights with the cold winters we can get in Utah. They didn't give us any "rent off" the next month even though we asked kindly. The shrugged us off as if it was our fault.

Recently our apartment has been flooded for 2.5 weeks. I'm serious too when I say I was splashing in water for that long. Today it appears finally to be fixed. All it needed as a coil in the air vent and some minor work and tightening of the pipe on the dishwasher, 1 hour tops, but it took 2.5 weeks. Maint. guys said they were only allowed to get a part from this 1 guy or company, that Jamespointe wouldn't let them get it elsewhere so we had to wait for this Company to respond. It took 2.5 weeks. Unacceptable.

Overall, the office staff isn't very friendly or nice, at least not with complaints or problems. They do not deliver the message to maintenance in a timely manner, thus delaying your issues. They give no paybacks in any way when anything goes wrong.

I will be moving out soon. Had these problems not happened, I'd stay.

Oh and one more thing... Some child pooped in the pool and Jamespoint closed down the entire pool for days on end to clean up a little terd. Granted I wanted it cleaned up but it was down way to long.

They are slackers to the fullest degree!!!

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! unless you want no heat, ponds in your hallways, and no pool for the summer!
