To whom it may concern,
In the past months since I have resided here at Foxborow there have been many times that the management has notified me that they are going to be entering my appartment to do a maintenance inspection. Since I have moved in this appartment my smoke detecters have been beeping even after changing the batteries sevral times. I have a friend that has been in the maintenance industry for some thirty years, I had him check my smoke detecters only to find out that they were contaminated from the previos tennents cigarett smoke and actully did not work at all... I also had him take a look at my air/heat filter and what he found is totaly unaceptable! He found a water soaked filter laying in the bottom of the return air chase area and was completely clogged with dust and grime. You guys are not entering my apartment to check for maintenance problems!!!! I feel that since the two mager items that would be considerd preventive maintenance have been totaly ignored and that the only reason you want to gain entrence is to be nosey and nothing else...You will find a picture attached of the filter and also a picture of the broken condensate pipe that caused the soaking of the filter and also the water damage that was caused by said broken pipe.

I was told that maintenance changes filters every June. I have to agree that they don't. I buy my own twice a year. For less than $3.00 I think I can handle that.

But you should not have too with the amount of rent they ask for. And the fire alarms not working is very frightening to me since peoples lives depend on em.
