I moved into Pebble Creek Place in October of 2006. There were so many serious problems from day one. First, they moved out our move-in date so they could 'clean' the apartment. When we eventually moved in, NOTHING had been cleaned. There was still food in the fridge from the previous owners, the bathroom had toothpaste, scum, and pubic hair all over it, the wd closet had an inch of dust and socks from the previous owners. The only part that the apartment attempted to clean was the carpet, which wasn't cleaned, they only got it wet. When we moved in we could not put our boxes on the ground because the carpet was so wet. Then, when we let the management know about it not being cleaned they said it could be cleaned the following Wednesday (we moved in on a saturday). We ended up cleaning it ourselves and they gave us only a $50 credit. We moved in in October and in February the maintenance workers decided to let themselves in (nobody notified us) and patch up the walls. In December, our water heater broke and we were without hot water for an entire week. For five days the maintenence workers came in and relit the pilot light (which I could have and did do). It wasn't until the 6th day when they tried something else. It was a horrible problem having the maintenance workers come in unannounced, especially when we were home. We would be in our bedroom and we'd hear the door open and they had let themselves in without ringing the doorbell. When I asked the apartment manager, Rose of Sharon, for the corporate office she refused to give it to me until I asked about 5 times, then I got called in to a meeting for being disrespectful... This apartment is horrible... Do not move in.

Aside from being called in for a meeting, this sounds almost exactly like what we went through as well. I hope you found a better place!
