Dont live here

When I was living here I was a single mother with 2 kids. The whole time I felt very unsafe and I was being watched by men in the apartment across from me. I NEVER let my children out to play by themselves and I would never go out at night unless I had a friend with me. The landlords will let 5-6 men live together and I did complain that they would whistle at 12 year old girls but the management never did anything about it.
My heater/ cooler never shut off automaticly. I manualy flipped in on and off its a pain to get up 5 times out the night. If any of you saw on the news about the big fire that burnt down at least half of the complex its because the heating unit is UNSAFE and I did report it but was not properly fixed. The water heater also dripped next to the furnace.
Parking sucks and half the time someone else will park in your assigned spot. At least 3-4 nights out of the week someones car gets broke into or car alarms go off. Neighbors like to party ALOT which sometimes wasnt bad because you knew at least someone was out there watching what was going on. I would wake up to what I like to call "clown music". My sliding door didnt lock so I would wedge it with a baseball bat.
When I left there where two ladies that pretty much ran the place named Penny and April. While I was under contract they were ok but as soon as I gave my notice they turned into total witches. April pretty much took my whole deposite when I left and I left my apartment in perfect condition. It look BETTER than we I moved in. They also claimed they had to clean my carpets because of my pet but NEVER had a pet live there. They also say the cleaning lady get $80.00 dollars an HOUR! - YEAH RIGHT!- If thats true I was to work there! And they also had to replace things that were already in very good to excellent condtion when I left. And the final thing that just pushed me over the edge to leave is that at one time there was a man walking around with a gun. The police told every one to stay in there apartments while they searched for him... freaked me out.
I did meet some very good and kind people there but the bad things outweigh the good
