After reading the previous reviews I can tell you that not much has changed at Village Park over the years (well, except the managers changing every 3-4 months). The apartments are crappy and while I lived there they increased our rent $100 because of the market they said. My husband lived at Cortland Ridge for 5 years before moving to Village Park and they never raised his rent once. Village Park could care less about their tenants and only care about making a dime. They don't even have covered parking for every apartment. It's like a lottery; if you choose the right apartment when you move in then you get a covered parking spot, if not, oh well. You still have to pay the $15/month parking fee whether it's covered or not. Customer Service is not in the management's vocabulary (and if it is, they'll be gone real soon) so don't expect much help from them on anything. Trust me, it's worth it to pay slightly more to move into a nicer complex. Don't waste your money on these people because they'll think they can just keep screwing people over and they'll never change. I have plenty more stories about my stay at Village Park, but just take my word and find a place that actually cares about its tenants and hopefully you won't be one of the many of us who have been screwed by Village Park.
