When you do your walk through, the place looks great, unfortunetly, they are only surface clean. Cat hair was prominent throughout the place, back of cupboards filthy, washer/dryer closet door rigged to hold together, blinds literally falling down. The two female managers talk a good game until you have a complaint, then you see their true personalities and it isn't pretty. They become very defensive when asked a simple question. And, it doesn't matter how carefully you read the contract, because there are numerous loopholes. Taken to an attorney, it would cost more to fight than to pay. They tell you the apartment has to be clean when you leave, of course. What they don't tell you is that THEY charge you to have a professional cleaner come in to do the carpets. This charge is taken out of your deposit. Don't like it' Tough. Even if you have a carpet cleaner, you have to show them a bill that you had them professionally cleaned. Believe me, the professionals they use do a lousy job. Snow removal is great if you don't live on the top floor. Then watch out for that first and second landing....ice. Quiet time is not enforced, the complex is very noisy. Skateboarders are up and down the sidewalks unitl early morning hours. Kids screaming and playing until late in the evening and managment doesn't seem to care. Covered parking, yes, do they do anything when someone parks in your space, no. Before signing the contract, I asked about this. They told me they put a tow notice on the car and if it's not moved, they tow it. WRONG. I went to the office when there was a car in my space when I got home from work. The next day, I went to the office again and they were surprised when I told them the car was still there. 4 hours later, there was a warning on the car to move it or they would receive a tow warning. They told me if it wasn't moved in six hours they would have it towed. They were closed six hours later. The next day, afternoon, after a phone call to the office, they said they would put a tow warning on it. Now they ask you when you rent what car you drive, etc. so they had to know whose car this was. So, the next day when the car was still there, I told them I wanted it towed! Apparently they contacted the person who had the car because it was then moved. And yes, I went through this all again less than two weeks later. Take anything management tells you about how wonderful they are with a grain of sand. They sit back and do nothing. Thin walls, floors, leaking windows with cold mountain air, and hot humid valley breezes blow in. Animals' They say only certain breeds, ie: no pit bulls, etc. I saw a few pit bulls, of course it helps when you're a friend of one of the managers. Don't waste your money. Not only will you be throwing it away on rent, you'll also be throwing it away in utilities. They never told us the water, trash, etc was allocated, meaning it's divided up and you pay what everyone else does, this also includes their watering of the property, cleaning the carpets, everything. They did tell me there would be a $4 charge to have me pay this through the complex....it's now $14 in less than a year with no notice or explanation. I am throughly disgusted with this aparment, it's managers and everything about it. I feel as though I have been cheated the whole time I've been here and can hardly wait to put Sewer Springs behind me.

I have one disagreement with your statement. The office staff just doesn't get angry or huffy with you when you have a complaint, it's when you come to them with anything. Automatically they get defensive, until they find out that you don't have a complaint. They are, quite possibly, the worst management EVER.
