I live in Cambrudge right now, and I have no idea why anyone would have a mold problem, unless of course, if they are total idiots.
When you move in, you get a packet of information and a whole sheet is devoted to how you should turn on the fan when you shower or run the dishwasher (anything with a lot of moisture involved)and also probably crack the window. So, my husband and I do that, and have no problems. I guess if you decided not to read the info, or just are daft, then you would have a problem with mold.

Because it doesn't prevent it in all cases... The apartment itself is poorly laid out and the vents are horribly lacking. Perhaps your apartment is situated better. To say others are idiots to their claims really makes you the idiot and an ignorant one at that. Don't discredit people if you do not fully understand their circumstances. I have a big moldy spot on the ceiling due to the roof leaking that has not been fixed. Opening a window and turning on vents won't fix that.
