If you've ever tried to find married housing in Provo, you know that there is none. That is what brought my husband and I to Cambridge Court...finally, a place with an opening. It's true that the apartments are small--- in fact, my husband measured our apartment since they do not post the sq ft anywhere (too embarrassing) and the apt is only 480 sq feet! We didn't mind so much because we didn't have a ton of furniture to start out with. However, by the time we moved out, we had a baby and acquired some furniture and it was way too tight.

The dishwasher never really got our dishes cleaned, so we never used it. The tub will never get truly clean- trust me, I've scrubbed that thing for hours on end. The fan that they want you to turn on for 15 minutes every day to fight mold is ridiculous- it's so loud you can't even have a conversation with anyone. The carpet is gross- it's the industrial stuff that you find at the church. Well, my husband says it's a step down from that. Just make sure the office cleans it for you- they didn't automatically do that for us when we moved in- we had to request it. Thought that was a little strange.

Management was OK to work with- we got out of our lease 2 weeks early without any problem. Never used the lounge or hottub (there was a sign on it when we moved in saying it was closed by the health department or something like that-ekkkk). Parking is alright, we were on the west side and there were always plenty of spots. However, DO NOT let your friends or family (visitors) park in that lot without a visible permit- they WILL boot you after 11 pm.

Be careful about parking your bike there- they have the weirdest bike policy. They want you to change your bike permit every 3 months and if you don't go to the office and get a new bike permit, they take your bike from you! What a hassle. My husband forgot to do it and his bike disappeared. He went to the office to ask for his bike permit information so he could file a report in case it got stolen, and they didn't give him any information. It's my opinion that the office has a side ebay bike selling business---why in the world do they care if your bike is registered every 3 months- seems like a hassle to me, especially when they don't even have the information available when you ask for it.

One positive thing about living here is the location to campus. I worked on campus and my husband was a full time student- so we were easily able to come home on lunch breaks. That honestly was the best thing about this place for us.

Overall, the place is fine- it's not going to be your dream home, but it's better than some of those basement apartments I've seen in Provo. Way overpriced, but hey it's Provo, and they can do it to you.
