Not too bad...if you like living in a cell..

So the place isn't that bad...but I shall preface that statement with yet another: it isn't that good either.
Simply put, it's just freaking smaller than hell. Perhaps this could be an advantage. For example, if you get up from the couch, it only takes about two steps to the left to reach the refrigerator. Two steps right from the refrigerator and you are all snug and cozy in bed. Finally, if you crawl over your bed you are in the bathroom. Basically, all physical movements are very efficient and much energy is conserved, as far as reaching your destination is concerned. The place totally redifnes the word 'bedroom', as our room was 90 % occupied by our luxurious queen-sized bed. I guess 500 bucks a month isn't too bad, but the place is so small that a good fart could quite possibly result in a serious concussion...if not, at the very least some pretty serious gagging. Not to worry though, the hospital is less than three blocks away.
I must mention that I have come to assume that this place is a newlywed magent. Often, we could hear the people above and on either side of us going at it hard core. Think about it: three newlywed Mormon couples...the odds of at least one of them throwing down at night are pretty danggood, (if not multiple times). Don't worry though, their newlyweds so it doesn't last long.
Some 'pluses', or I should say THE plus, is that it is remarkably close to BYU. I walked to school everyday in about fifteen to twenty minutes. The family ward meets less than a block away and it is pretty cool...just a bunch of poor college kids and poor grandparent-age folk. Smiths is less than three blocks south, which makes for convenient shopping. However, if you have ever been to Smiths you know that they rip you off for everything you are worth. I prefer WalMart.
The maintenance is less that fantastic, although we did have a light fixture that didn't work and the dude fixed it within a week. Bear in mind that I showered in the dark for that week. They do give you free cable and high speed internet. The cell, er...apartment IS in good shape. The laundry room sucks.
Good luck.
