Its ok, if you don't mind that its falling apart around you and the maintenance/apt manager doesn't care about it. When I first moved in the apt had a horible smell the hallway carpet was flooded and there was a moldy hole in the wall behind the sink. I should of taken it as a sign and got my deposit back, but I had no where elts to go. They did come and clean the apt the next day which took care of the smell and brought a fan to dry out the carpet and told me they would take car of the hole the next week. Well two months down the hole is still there and after calling them about every other day for three weeks they sent some one over to mud over the moldy hole. I just happoned to come home when he was finnishing and asked what they were going to do about the mold' well a couple weeks later I when to the office with pictues of it, and told them if they don't get it taken care of the right way I was going to the byu housing board for making me and my roomates live in an un safe apt (Black mold is hazardous to you health) and only after that did there finaly take car of it the right.4 1/2 months later its fixed, come to find out there was a pipe that was leaking on the third floor and they had to replace the secord floors kitchen floor becouse of it. Also the carpet flooded in one of the rooms closet and it recently (in the spring) flooded the hall way again, so they replaced the carpet, after me and my roomates refused to pay rent until they fix it. Parking is really crapy not enuf spots and there really small. couches have springs that poke you when you sit on them, not even close to enuf cuboard or countertop space cuboards are cheaply built and falling apart, mostly from water damage. The bed rooms are a good size, living room size is ok, over all the apt is too small for 6 people. internet use to suck a lot but added new line spring of 08 and its better. I lived in the fourth building on the guys side which all around they don't care about. laundry, at least either a washer or dryer is constanty broken, and it take months before they do anything about it and then a week later another one breaks. parking lot lights most of them haven't been on sense christmas and despite how much I complain I can't seam to get them to fix that.
Overall there better then the dorm but not by much,about a half a step up. yet almost as old despite they refinnished the out side to look newer, wish they would do that to the inside. I would not recommend the apts, there are alot of old apts around prove they just don't care about trying to keep them up.
