After a month and a half...

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
This is what I have to say.
Quality: Appearance-wise, the whole place is beautiful and it makes me happy to be living there. The outdoor areas are pretty and well maintained. There is a nice public meeting area for study or play available for everyone, and a pool and volleyball courts. They also have a large laundry area, albeit an expensive one. ($2 per load total) The apartments themselves are gorgeous in an aesthetic sense as well as a cleanliness one. They're clean, well-kept-up, and all the appliances worked when we got there. Basic furniture was included. The maintenance has been prompt so far.
One thing that detracts big points from the quality is something they pretend to have but do not: Internet. They are charging us monthly for Internet that goes down every week, on average, and stays down for about two or three days at a time. This regularly happens when I or my roommates have important online quizzes we are in the middle of. I am an I.T. major so this is a serious problem for me. Apparently this problem has been happening for years (even the management admitted it--but they also said they switched to landlines this year to eliminate the problem, which is fine except for the small fact that it didn't eliminate the problem at all). It's a complete joke and the only reason why I pay for it is so that I have at least some way to access sites that are otherwise blocked by the annoying, arbitrary BYU filters on campus.
Location: The place is sandwiched between other apartment complexes, so there is plenty of opportunity to make new friends. There is a Little Caesars down the road, which is nice, and a bus stop close by. The closest grocery stores are about 15 minutes walk away--it's about the same distance to get to either the Creamery on Ninth or Smith's. (This is a big problem for people who do not have a car or a bike--you'd better make a friend who will give you rides, quick!) It is about a 15 minute walk to BYU.
Parking: I do not have a car, so I can't make a really informed statement on this. However, based on what I've seen, the parking lots are 99% full, 99% of the time. There is no way to pretend that they don't have a severe parking shortage. Being next to other apartment complexes only adds to the problem, because there are even more people to compete for parking space on the nearby streets (which are also packed 99% of the time). The whole place needs a ten-story parking garage (or three).
Social life: This was one of the main points that King Henry emphasized when we were considering where to move: they supposedly have great and wonderful social life. However, it seems like a lot of it is just hot air. Yes, they have a pool and volleyball courts, and you can always find people there to meet. The management also sets up monthly events for everyone in the complex to come to, which is definitely going above and beyond their normal duties. But other than that, it's the same drill as with any other place: you just go out and meet people. It's a very friendly place but that doesn't make it as magially 'social' as the ads tout it to be.
Management: they -seem- very friendly and willing to help, but this says nothing about how helpful they really are. I haven't needed to go to them with any major problems yet, so I don't have an accurate verdict.
Size: Our apartment is smaller than our last (Heritage) and also costs more. We are in a four-person apartment and it is extermely cozy. There's definitely enough space to live comfortably in, but it's not spacious by any means. There is also only one desk per bedroom in ours, which makes things a bit awkward when it comes to studying.
Overall, I would probably recommend another apartment. Yes, it's pretty and friendly, and relatively good, but it's small and expensive too. And I simply can't complete my schoolwork properly if I'm in danger of the Internet crapping out in the middle of a Blackboard midterm.
