live somewhere else. liberty square attracts mainly freshman and sophomores, so the wards are getting a lot younger. The management SUCKS. liberty square consists of an entire block south of campus, which is a huge number of tenets. The management does a crappy job dealing with that many renters. For example, the maintenance staff has about 4 guys so repairs never get fixed unless you write URGENT on the stupid request and even then they will take their time. The office hours are very limited and when someone (not someone helpful, just a living breathing person) is in the office, they normally tell you to come back and talk to someone else. I've actually had a staff member tell me "not to contact management because they have too many other problems to deal with." Seriously. There are hidden fees and management doesn't tell you when they raise the rent per month. The apartments are "newly remodeled" which just means they slapped on some new paint and called it a day. Cleaning checks are ridiculous. They fail you regardless if you clean. They charge for parking, which ranges from 20-100 bucks and boot cars almost every night if you don't have a liberty square sticker. Also, be prepared for mold in your apartment. You can find a better place to live at the same or better price, but i would NOT recommend this place.
