Liberty would be great...if they could hire some competent employees. Management, as discussed in every review, is horrible. They don't care about anything except getting your rent. The internet was terrible despite being recently 'upgraded'. Never had it this bad since dial up days on AOL. When you inform management, they inform you back that it is a personal issue and nobody else has this problem. They will recommend that you sell your contract if you repeatedly bring up and issue that they don't feel like fixing (personal experience). With its location, no matter how many disgruntled former residents there are, they will always fill up so they have no incentive to help you. STAY AWAY.

Construction is a big issue as well. They have been doing construction since I moved in. While not as bad now as it once was, for about a month I woke up every morning at 8am to breaking glass and smashing objects right outside my window. It would make my entire room vibrate and even set off my roommate's car alarm on several occasions.

As a followup, I was recently charged a $50 late fee on my rent after I paid it on their website. Something went wrong and my payment didn't go through. I didn't realize this until I received a late notice a few days later. After realizing I had no way to prove I had tried to pay it, I paid my rent in person in the office (and the late fee). Then, a few days later, I got another notice telling me I was still late and owed an additional $50. It turns out that they were lazy and hadn't cashed my rent check yet. Because of that, they still had me on the delinquent list. While after talking to them I got it taken away, I find it very unprofessional to attempt to add on fees and late notices when rent is already paid, due to simple laziness. Get receipts for EVERYTHING.

Yes, get receipts for everything and document everything you do. We were charged $50 for moving out late when that wasn't true. They knew I'd moved out because I got booted while moving out parking 15 minutes in the parking lot because the closest street parking was four blocks away. So they booted a pickup with luggage and boxes in it.
