Lookout Pointe Apartments

From: lizzy13 Date posted: 6/10/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   Pros: The price is great, the management is wonderful (I just love the office staff here), maintenance is performed quickly when requested, the view is wonderful, each apartment has a balcony (patio on the first floor), it's quiet, the tenants seem really nice, the laundry room is very comfortable and homey, top floors have swamp coolers and other floors have removable stand alone A/C units, there is plenty of parking, the landscaping is beautiful (even if the apts are a bit old), and for a fee, you can have a pet! Oh, and the 4th of July is great up here, but you have to live here or be a guest to be on the facility grounds that night. Cons: Just try getting up the driveway in the winter... I saw at least 3 cars slide down backwards... Make sure you have good tires! The driveway also has at least 5 pot holes that are not often repaired. Noise is transferred very easily so watch out for loud neighbors. If you want a pet it's $500 non-refundable deposit (little pricey). There are no bus stops nearby. The walk to campus is great, but I hope you're an athlete if you have to walk back.
