Started out good, downhill ever since

When I first was looking at this apartment complex, I was really impressed. It was very quiet, the view is gorgeous, and the price is reasonable. However, it slowly went downhill from there.
I'd say the main problem is the management. They TOTALLY give you the run around, and it used to be good but one of the managers quit (the one who didn't act like a total airhead all of the time) and it has gone downhill ever since. The woman who runs it now, Suzette, is always in the middle of social hour every time you go to pay rent/ ask questions, or she's not there. We're talking two hour lunch breaks here, not coming in when office hours are, etc. Plus she writes really rude apartment notices to everyone about things like parking and such, but then won't do anything about, oh say, the walking bridge that WAS OUT OF COMMISSION for over a month and a half, forgetting to get the parking lot plowed after it snows heavily. She's just a ditz and doesn't really seem to care about anyones problems.
Also, if you don't like spiders, don't bother. We have heard of spiders like black widows and tarantulas from some of our neighbors coming to these apartments. We've had a few big ones ourselves.
Maintenance does an okay job, but if they don't or can't fix something, they usually say, "sorry this is the best that I can do."
Overall, I wouldn't recommend living here, especially in the winter. I have an SUV and have trouble getting up the hill. Besides, you'll have to put up with a management that thinks it is God.
