Monaco Court Apartments

Good place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/13/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   My husband and I have lived here for a year and a half and we have enjoyed it for the most part. They have a parking space for each apartment plus a few extras for those who want to rent them (so if you have two cars). There is no visitor parking, which would be fine if visitors parked on the street, but they don't. Our space is near the stairwell and we've had problems with people parking in the spot. Some have been really rude about moving. Overall it's been good. It depends on when you live here, but there are some real snobs who have played their TV really loud at 1 a.m. It is mostly fine because it is only couples who live here, but there are times. So more than likely you won't have that problem. The apartments are decently price for the size and how nice they are. They're putting in new carpets this year even though the carpets are only ten years old, which is nice. They also replaced our dishwasher this year. The managers are really nice and helpful. I haven't had a problem getting a hold of them and they have a cell phone. Overall, it's a good location. It's near BYU and there is a bus stop a block from the complex that goes to BYU, which makes for an easy and fast commute. Although the managers are great, we've had some problems with the owner. She tries to be nice, but I don't think she knows how to run an apartment complex. She bought it as an investment. She put a huge gouge in our kitchen floor when she tried to move our refrigerator (we pulled it out when they were replacing our carpets). She wouldn't replace the linoleum and it looks horrible. I'm glad I deal with the managers instead. I'd say that these problems, though, are really minor and overall I would recommend this apartment complex.
