I lived in Monticello in Red Brick a couple of years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, everything the previous reviewer said about the manager is correct. However, they've since gotten new management. The apartments themselves are very cute. The bedrooms are small, especially because they are shared between two people, and their closets are tiny. The bathrooms were small and tended to get mold and mildew really fast, but the maintenance crew came in regularly to take care of that. The kitchen has tons of storage space, which is very helpful, and all of the appliances are fairly new. There's a volleyball court outside, a pool which is kept in good condition, and places to grill by the pool. I drive by there often and the new management is doing an excellent job of keeping the place looking nice on the outside too. Maintenance was always quick to respond and very helpful, and I think the new manager is one of the previous maintenance guys, so I'd trust him as a manager after seeing how great a job he did.

White Brick has larger apartments and lots of storage space. There are also three houses on the property owned by Monticello and they are in various conditions. White House is the best place to live because it was remodelled recently. It is really hard to get a womens contract, requiring sleeping overnight in their office unless procedure has changed. The ward is often in flux but seems to consistently be a social place, and the year I was there, WHite Brick ward had a record number of marriages. Also, it's right next to campus.

I thoroughly enjoyed Monticello, despite the manager, and highly recommend it.
