My experience at moon apartments was terrible and I would not recommend it at all.
Zero stars out of five.
Many tenants upon leaving Moon Apartments regret their time living here and feel mistreated and taken advantage of by the owners.
- After signing my contract with free parking, they charged me $40 dollars to park my vehicle.
- They forced the tenants to put the electricity bill under the tenants name so not to hurt Moon Aparments' credit.
- They will arbitrarily move tenants without consent at the end of terms in order for them to maximize profits by having four tenants per apartment.
- They charge high amounts for carpet cleanings, the "cleaned" carpets remain odorous and stained.
- Insulation is very poor which causes you to pay high gas bills in the winter and high electric bills in the summer.
- They charge you for "not having your apartments clean enough" when you move out and then they do not return your deposit.
However, when I arrived to Moon Apartments the apartments were filthy.
- They assign "regular" cleaning checks, however 4 out of the last five checks they did not come.

I recognize that the owners "own" Moon Apartments but what they do now realize it that it is our HOME. They wonder why their apartments have no retention and they are attracting no new tenants. It is because they care more about making money than the service they provide. If a company's only priority is profit and not the product they make or the service they provide they lose my business. They also just cut down two beautiful old growth trees that contributed to the beauty of Utah valley in order for their building to be better seen. They only thing that kept me sane at Moon Apartments are the husband and wife managers, the wife is particularly courteous.
