Spyglas Court

 

I lived at Spyglas court for only a few months,and it was terrible.

The manager is completely incompetent.

She would post notices about cleaning checks being a certain date and time and would show up an hour early or several hours late.

She threatened to evict several residents, but when asked about it later woudl lie and say that she never said anything like that.

She was frequently rude and demeaning towards female residents.

Several pieces of furniture were broken when we moved in, we noted this on our move in inspection sheets and later she tried to charge us for the broken furniture.

She even tried to turn roommates against each other, claiming that roommate A had said something about roommate B (ie: that B had broken the furniture).

Every saturday morning at 7am maintenance would start leaf blowing right behind the building, so basically right outside all the first floor bedroom windows.

There is a huge underground parking garage but it leaks when it rains and will stain your car.

An outside company enforces parking and will boot you the first chance they get.

I came home during a snowstorm one night and couldn't see the lines in the parking lot.

In the morning I had a boot on my car because I was on the line.

My car wasn't taking up two spaces, but my tires were parked right on one of the space lines.

I had to pay $50 and wait 3 hours to get the stupid thing off my car.

It is also VERY overpriced.

although it was a nice apartment, it was not worth the money.

Just stay away from Spyglas, there are plenty of nicer condos and apartments within 2 blocks of it that have much lower rent and nicer managers.
