The apartments themselves are nice, but due to management's incompetence they'll probably be trash in just a few years. We had gang graffitti in our stairwells; calls to the manager and owner went ignored until we finally called the Provo City Police. The underground parking garage is dark and numerous cars have been broken into. There is little opportunity to interact with your neighbors due to the cement "chastity wall" separating the men from the women.

I've never felt so unsafe in Provo. Aside from the numerous car break-ins and the graffitti, we had a man break into our apartment at night (while all four roommates were at home) and enter one of the bedrooms. One of my neighbors was sexually assaulted in her apartment. The manager, Cathy, is extremely rude and unresponsive to resident concerns regarding safety.

I would not recommend Spyglas to anyone! There are nicer, safer places for less money.

While most of these are obviously legitimate concerns, I know for a fact that the "chastity wall" (which is aptly named) was not in the original design for the complex. BYU housing required that wall to be built separating mens and women's apartments in order for the complex to be BYU approved, therefore, not Spyglas' fault.
